Hello!
Alecia Schade helps patients reduce pain, restore balance, and feel more at home in their bodies through acupuncture and Chinese medicine. She frequently works with patients experiencing headaches, migraines, TMJ/TMD concerns, neck and shoulder tension, and chronic or complex health concerns. She also enjoys supporting women through the often challenging transition of perimenopause, helping address symptoms such as hot flashes, sleep disturbances, stress, and hormonal shifts.
Alecia has a special interest in sports medicine, orthopedics, and pain management. During her clinical training at the Human Performance Center in Bloomington, Minnesota, she worked in an integrative setting treating both high-performance athletes and everyday individuals recovering from injury or dealing with chronic pain.
Her path to Chinese medicine is also personal. After experiencing chronic migraines, TMD, and periods of chronic illness herself, Alecia discovered firsthand how powerful acupuncture can be in supporting the body’s healing process. That experience ultimately inspired her to pursue a career helping others find relief and regain balance in their health.
Alecia is a Licensed Acupuncturist and nationally board-certified Diplomate of Acupuncture through the National Certification Board for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (NCBAHM). She completed her training at Northwestern Health Sciences University after an earlier career in Human Resources, where she developed a strong interest in wellness and preventative health.
Alecia believes the best care begins with listening. She works collaboratively with patients to create thoughtful treatment plans that support their individual goals and long-term health.
