Protect Your Energy
Nonstop events. Late nights. Family dynamics.
Try to find one thing per day that fills your cup. Remember - you cannot pour from an empty one.
Eat Warm, Not Wild
Cold, sugary, low-nutrient foods can slow digestion and put extra strain on the immune system. Balance the Christmas cookies with warm soups, hot cider, and plenty of protein.
Schedule Recovery Amongst Celebrations
Treat rest like a holiday party. Book an acupuncture appointment, take a walk, and make room for a nap or an early bedtime. Aim to stay out of fight or flight and let your nervous system enjoy the season too.
Breathe First, Then React
Sore neck and shoulders? Headaches? Trouble Sleeping?
Holiday stress loves to show up as tension in the body. Focus on deep breathing, lowering the shoulders, and letting the stress roll off.
